Humble Beginnings

I have read that creating a blog is a great way to practice “rubber ducking”. Everyone, yes that includes you, has done this before.

”rubber ducking” is the idea that by explaining a problem or situation to somebody (or something 🦆) else, you are able to more easily solve it.

Just think, how many times have you explained your problem to someone; only to realise halfway through your description you have thought of a solution? I find that this happens pretty regularly. Particularly when explaining a technical problem to a non-technical person. I think that some part of the “dumbing it down” process (for lack of a better phrase) helps to surface the cause of any problems.

This, along with creating a platform to write about anything useful my future self will create, is why I have created this site.
